Meet Our Spring Lunch Keynote, Paulina Cameron
It’s a tough world for girls. You can change that.
With social pressures for girls at an all-time high, mentoring matters now more than ever. Every Spring at Big Sisters of BC Lower Mainland, we celebrate the impact mentorship has on inspiring young, vulnerable girls to achieve more. At our annual Spring Lunch, our guests become part of changing girls’ lives for the better. The event is sold out, but we thought we’d tell you about the inspirational woman bringing us together next week!
We are delighted to host entrepreneur, community leader, Young Women in Business founder, and Canada 150 Women author, Paulina Cameron, as our keynote.
Paulina is an impact-driven leader, working in the spaces of entrepreneurship, youth, and gender equality, as well as the author of Canada 150 Women. She believes we need diversity of leadership, and that we need to celebrate the incredible work of female role models in Canada. We’re honoured to celebrate Paulina and her inspiring work at this year’s Spring Lunch.
As Director of the Western Canada division of Futurpreneur Canada, she leads a team that has supported the launch of over 1,300 new businesses across BC & Yukon. She is the founder of Young Women in Business, serves on the Government of Canada’s Expert Panel on Youth Employment, and has won an Alliance for Women’s Top 100 International Women Award and the inaugural Wendy McDonald Award from the Vancouver Board of Trade.
We can’t wait to join Paulina and some of her book’s inspirational women leaders for the 2018 Spring Lunch.
